We've been working on our "Classroom" space for the last couple of weeks. Buying things here and there for it, painting the walls, and finding the right furniture to fill the space and still be functional! It's not 100% done, there is still a lot of empty wall space, but that will be filled over time!
So here it is, our dining room and classroom:
Most of the organizational stuff for this room came from IKEA
The red chest I finished a little while ago is perfect for
hiding holding our school supplies!
Mason jars to store all the little craft items for easy finding!
Our "Masterpieces" wall! We love it!
( A friend made the vinyl for me.)
There are board games and other craft items inside of this cabinet. On top we are keeping our printer, laminatior, and big roll of paper!
Here we have our reading wall where we are keeping the cardboard books on the bottom for Emmelyn and the paper books on top for Landon. I'm thinking about adding a beanbag chair to the corner.
We used picture ledges from IKEA for our books.
The flower hand print artwork on the wall was a pinterest inspired project I did with the kids for Mother's Day!
In the previous pictures, I forgot to hang up our magnetic board. Landon added his glow in the dark letters and numbers to it. He wanted it at his eye level, which will be great for practicing his sight words!
So, there you have it! We love this room and Landon said it was, "The most awesomest room, EVER!" To me, that's all that really matters. ;)
